There are several different choices of routes Up and down the mountain. when you get intouch with me l can give you a idea of the route for you or your group taking into account the Number of days that you're available.

My team for the trek is all Kenyans and has grown up around the mountain. They are all well versed with terrain Flora and Fauna. lndeed the mountain is large part of their income Which they protect by giving their best to hikers from all Over the world.

You will find your Guide and porters informative and the Cook will do Wonders in the Meals time.

What's needed to bring or what l can arrange to rent?

if you'd like a special transport from Nairobi- an extra 70$ per group is charged for each direction

Below please find itinerary (5days Sirimon down Chogoria)

Day1:
Leave Nairobi at 7.30am and drive up to Nanyuki Where we pick the rest of the team and drive up to Sirimon park gate of the Mt. Kenya Nationals park,where we take Lunch. After lunch begin the trek up to Old Moses Camp. (3300m)This walk take about 2/3hour's and reach the bunk house late afternoon ready for dinner and Overnight.

Day2:
After early breakfast leave and start walking in the direction of Mackinder's Valley finally reach shipton's Camp (4200m)This walk take 6/7hour's and covers very spectacular views point and the different of Flora and Fauna of Upper altitudes.Lunch enroute with dinner and Overnight at shipton's.Camp.

Day3:
After late breakfast this is a very important day for the trekkers leave and start walking towards Hausberg Col. to prepare them for the next day. (Accramataisation day) hike up to (4650m) then descend back to shipton's Camp forLunch and spend the Afternoon relaxing.

Day4:
Wake at 2.30am if everyone agrees to Sunrise ascent to be sure of reaching point Lenana before Sunrise.This is the third highest peak of the mountain.and the views are spectacular when the sun come's up. After the Sunrise and few snaps head down to Mintos Hut for breakfast. After breakfast descend viewing the Gorges Valley and the Temple to mt Kenya badas lodge.Lunch enroute dinner and Overnight at the lodge.

Day5:
After breakfast descend leisurely through tropical Bamboo forest viewing Wild game and bird to connect Our vehicle to transfer to Chogoria village then Nairobi.
