Tofo Scuba is a PADI 5 Star Gold Palm resort and we run courses from Discover Scuba up to Divemaster. Tofo and Tofo Scuba is an ideal place to take your first steps in professional diving.

 

Our dive centre employs a staff of 3 qualified and experienced DOT skippers, instructors who are both qualified with PADI and RAID, a PADI staff instructor and Divemaster trainees who are on hand to assist divers throughout the year. 

 

We have three 8.4 meter semi ridgid superducks with new type solid noses. These are powered by twin 100Hp Yamaha 4 stroke commercial engines and are fitted out with all the necessary safety equipment as specified by South African Department of transport (DoT) This includes radios, GPS, footstraps and medical Oxygen. We have life jackets and life rings on board all of our boats. 

 

Tofo Scuba has one of the most advanced filling stations in Mozambique. We have 3 Bauer 250 Litres per minute air compressors  as well as a standalone  750 litre per minuite Nuvair Nitrox compressor and membrane which can fill to a maximum of 40% O2. We do not do partial pressure filling as we believe it is unsafe.

 

Tofo Scuba has 40 full sets of Scuba Pro equipment which is for student and divers use. All our equipment is meticulously maintained and cared for.

We have 90 cylinders and we offer both Steel and Aluminium tanks in 10L, 12L and 15L. 

We have the only heated training pool in Tofo, hot showers and lockers for your convenience. 

 

We are an extremely professional, friendly, customer orientated shop and we are proud of our high safety standards. Our staff are all well versed in assisting divers and our team are knowledgeable, positive and energetic. Owners Steve and Nick combine their 15 years of local experience and enthusiasm scuba diving the pristine reefs of Tofo Beach, to offer a bespoke range of diving experiences including: Ocean Safaris, PADI Training Courses and Dive Packages in association with a number of the finest accommodation options in Tofo Beach.

We have a huge variety of differing reefs to choose from, over 25 differing reefs to be exact. They range in depth and cater for all levels of diver. Our Lemon & Herb sites are 18mtr shallow reefs and great for beginners / Advanced divers alike. Perfect for all divers to find their feet after a long flight. We also have our aptly named “Hot” reefs ( 25mtr deeper reefs ) These essentially made Tofo the amazing diving destination it is today. Aimed at advanced divers with some experience, current and negative water entries make this adventure diving at its best.

Peri-Peri offers a personalized dive service that rivals the larger more commercial operations by taking smaller groups of divers to explore the world famous dive sites of tofo beach.

Peri-Peri was started in the hope of keeping diving more personalized and fun combining positive attitudes a friendly atmosphere and of course smiles to create amazing diving experiences for all.
